Reinvented for 2014! the Morimoto DSP AMP Ballasts may look practically the same, but it's what's inside that counts! Now in their 6th Generation, the Morimoto ballasts are more reliable than ever before and come packed with more performance.
With their industry standard 35w Output, the 3Five DSP ballasts will pump out around 3000 lumens per headlight, approximately three times your stock halogen setup! The 35w System has a rated lifetime of 2000 hours, which should last 6-10 years with normal use.
The all new ASIC-DSP components inside monitors input and output up to 7x faster than previous generations and does so with less individual components on board - making the output from the Morimoto DSP's more stable ( (Application specific integrated circuit, digital signal processing)
With special Siemens brand igniters and igniter capacitors, the Morimoto DSP Ballasts produce 23,000V worth of output on start up; More than enough to ignite any OEM or aftermarket HID bulb no matter the conditions.
The new ballasts have an operating range between -40 and 200C, so it doesn't matter if your cruising in the caribbean or skiing through the south pole, you should expect the DSP ballasts to turn on quickly and reliably ever time..
The Morimoto ballasts look as good as they perform! Their completely weather-proof body is painted with a durable and attractive paino-black paint, the graphics are laser etched, the hardware is all stainless steel, and the high-voltage output is protected with braided Tech-Flex mesh sleeving.
