This is currently, by far, the best clutch kit for any S2000 that is daily driven or properly suited for aggressive street use and moderate track use. Up until now, any aftermarket clutch kit installed in the S2000 had a "buzzing sound" or resonance on decelleration, between 2,000rpm and 3,000rpm. This was caused by a variance in the manufacturing of the clutch discs. Competition Clutch has since remedied this issue with a "New & Improved Clutch Disc".
The Competition Clutch S2000 Stage 2 assembly provides an 80% increase in torque capacity and features a full-face carbon/kevlar material with an alloy backing. This awesome setup will slip just enough for easy, daily driven comfort and will grab when it needs to.
The clutch kit includes a performance pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with antiburst steel backed Carbon Kevlar facings, all applicable bearings, and the appropriate clutch alignment tool.
