  
Camshafts are an integral component in determining the power characteristics of an engine. These camshafts are factory spec OEM units found in the Civic Type-R. Depending on your application and engine component setup, these camshafts can give an excellent power and torque increase from 4000rpm to redline maintaining a smooth powerband and idle. These camshafts are for use in the DOHC VTEC series engines only. Whenever performance camshafts are installed, we recommend the use of stiffer high-performance valve springs to eliminate the chance of valve float and a B&M Command Flo fuel pressure regulator kit to adjust the fuel accordingly to compensate for the increase in air intake.
