Our high-pressure radiator cap offered from Cusco is rated at 18.49 psi and raises the boiling point of the coolant to 259F for better cooling efficiency and to help prevent over heating. Cusco radiator caps feature a fortified main pressure valve spring and silicon packing, used to raise the pressure inside the radiator for a higher boiling point. The coolant will not boil easily, preventing air bubbles in the block and radiator core with improved heat transfer. Cusco's high pressure radiator caps work at 1.3kg/cm2 at zero atmospheric pressure. In practice though, the atmospheric pressure of the road surface (approximately 1.0kg/cm2) is added and the pressure is 2.3kg/cm2. Two different types to fit most applications.
Note: We are not responsible for incorrectly ordered radiator caps. - Most performance radiators use the Type A cap.
