Now with 50W Output, the XB5Five DSP ballasts will pump out over 4500 lumens per headlight, approximately four times your stock halogen setup! The XB System has a rated lifetime of 2500 hours, which should last 6-10 years with normal use.
2nd generation DSP failsafe software detects input and overload failure and automatically shut down after a failed start to prevent electrical system failures.
Modern D2 style igniters mounted closer to the HID bulb drastically reduces EMI/RFI (radio interference). Total system reliability is also improved by shielding the main circuit board from the static produced by these high voltage bursts on start up.
The new ballasts have an operating range between -40 and 85C, so it doesn't matter if your cruising in the caribbean or skiing through the south pole, you should expect the DSP ballasts to turn on quickly and reliably ever time..
