The Gear-X high-ratio D-series 3.083 first gear is designed to be used in the Honda D15B/D16A SOHC 1.6 early 88-91 Civic/CRX with a cable clutch transmission. This gear can also be used in the 92-00 Civic with hydraulic clutch transmission, when the "included" spacer washer is used along with the early 1st gear needle roller bearing.
