Inline Four introduces the iL4 Performance Exhaust Manifold Stud kit. These exhaust manifold studs allow for easier “slide-on” installation of most aftermarket performance exhaust manifolds and help to support heavy-duty turbo manifolds. The il4 Performance Exhaust Manifold Stud is an OEM Honda design, unlike the "allen head" type studs. These studs are constructed of high tensile-strength alloy steel and also feature a corrosion resistant black nitride coating. These iL4 studs also feature a "stop" that will not allow you to over tighten the nut as well as ensure that all studs are threaded into the cylinder head evenly. For the design and asthetic aspect, the iL4 Performance Exhaust Manifold Studs give your header that aggressive and "tech" look, as the dark stud contrasts against the "bling" of stainless steel. The kit is sold as a set of 9 studs.
Note: These studs are also designed to be used with the special OEM Honda exhaust manifold nut. Although you can use a general flange nut, the actual OEM Honda exhaust manifold nut is specific for this application and torque spec.
This kit can be used with just about any Acura/Honda, as long as the stud count is 9pcs.
