If you have a B18C and are building it from the ground up for road racing or a street motor, this is the best crankshaft to have. The Integra Type-R crankshaft is fully counter-weighted. This equates to less harmonics at high-rpm and more horsepower, as the engine spins more free. The stroke on this crankshaft is the same as a GSR at 87.2mm. You can combine this with a standard 81mm bore, or you can go all the way up to 82mm on stock sleeves. If you install aftermarket ductile iron sleeves, you can achieve bore sizes from 84mm all the way to 86mm. When utilizing bore sizes from 84mm and up, you are in the 2.0 liter, plus territory. Using this stroke allows you to maintain a better rod to stroke ratio and the high revs that the engine expierences will not produce as much crank flex as a GSR or B20 crankshaft. Combinations with this crankshaft will make for a more reliable setup that can be driven everyday and taken to the track on the weekends.
