Whenever you service or replace your oil pump, be sure to replace this o-ring. Smothering the old o-ring with Hondabond won't work and can actually harm your pump, by breaking loose and getting lodged inside the pumps inner workings. When you purchase a new oil pump, this o-ring is not included. So, now you can make sure you get one.
