You just installed your cylinder head and VTEC doesn't "pop" and you can't figure out why? One possible cause is that you might have either lost or misplaced these two items. They are necessary for vtec operation. The vtec dowel pin and o-ring are found under the "middle" camshaft cap. These parts are also good to replace whenever you replace you camshafts.
