Whenver you need to remove and replace your cylinder head, for whatever reason, you must NEVER re-use the old cylinder head bolts. Over time, like all bolts and fasteners that are subject to high stress/pressure, they have a tendency to stretch. As time progresses, like on high-mileage engines, the chances are that the head bolts have stretched to the point that, if re-used, they will not have the same holding/clamping force when torqued to the required torque spec(s). This can lead to improper sealing, cylinder head warpage, leakage and other problems. It is always a good practice, at the very minimum, to replace your old or used head bolts with "brand new" OEM Honda head bolts.
