The MAP or Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor as it is called is the second most broken sensor next to the TPS or Throttle Position Sensor. These sensors are broken during engine swaps or during the overseas importing of used engines. You can only be so careful, but it doesn't take much for these to break or chip and they are useless. These MAP sensors are designed to replace the MAP where it is located on the top of the throttle body unit. Honda uses a special threaded 4x16 screw/washer to secure the sensor. They can strip easily if care is not taken while securing the sensor. The MAP sensors are sold with or without screws.
