The Intake Air Temperature sensor or IAT as it is commonly referred to, is a common sensor that is frequently broken during engine swaps. This sensor also sometimes malfunctions if the wrong plug is plugged into it, shorting out the sensor. Inline Four offers OEM Honda replacement Intake Air Temperature Sensors (IAT) for your Honda or Acura vehicle. This sensor is commonly found in the first (1st) intake runner of the intake manifold. Either on top or in the side, protruding outwards. It will sometimes be a white or black sensor, depending on the manufacture used.
Note: This sensor can also be used when doing OBD2 swaps where the IAT must be plugged up in the manifold and a new style IAT(OBD2) run into the intake pipe. You can use this sensor to plug the hole in the intake manifold runner.
