The Spoon ECU features advanced fuel and timing maps to compensate for advanced modifications made to the vehicle. By setting the computers characteristics in ranges of stability for overall fuel injection, gas-emission temperature, ignition timing and other similar factors, it was possible to achieve high levels of power output. Furthermore, this sports computer has added the benefit of preventing the occurrence of wheel spin. The rev limiter on this computer is at 9krpm and the vtec point is set at 5,900 to 6,200rpm vs. the factory 6,000 to 6,300 rpm. |
