TODA Racing uses the latest design and manufacturing technologies to produce camshafts. All TODA parts are designed, tested, and manufactured using the IBM CATIA CAD/CAM/CAE system. This is the same system used by Honda, Boeing, Ferrari, and other leading high technology manufacturers.
The TODA High Power camshafts for the RSX Type-S and Type-R are designed to improve power output throughout the entire powerband while maintain factory reliability and driveability. As an engine supplier to the Japanese N+ racing series, we supply complete racing version of the RSX engine to various race teams. This gives us a huge advantage from a development perspective over our competition who mainly develop parts for street cars while we develop full competition engines for professional race teams. The knowledge gained from developing the N+ racing engines is applied to all TODA RSX production parts.
TODA Spec A camshafts are authorized for use in RSX Type-S's competing in the SCCA World Challenge.
TECHNICAL NOTE
TODA K20A camshafts must be used with TODA valve springs. The use of non-TODA valve springs with our K20A camshafts will cause damage to the camshafts or the cylinder head. Spec B and C camshafts require the use of TODA VTC Killer Campulleys.
