The infamous Torco MPZ Lube in spray form, allows the product to penetrate as a liquid and then "gel" as it sets up and protects as it coats. The MPZ spray lube provides complete protection for rocker-arms, valve springs, push-rods and any hard to reach spots to reduce frictional heat. This is very good to use during an engine rebuild. Use it on the wrist pins, piston ring lands, bearing shells, etc. MPZ spray stays put - won't run, drip or migrate. And that is good to know for when you crank that engine up the very first time. It's piece of mind to know you have MPZ protecting your vital engine components during initial start-up.
We like to use this as a spray down before we put a transmission casing back on after inspection, rebuild or assembly. We also spray down the valvetrain and rocker assembly before the valve cover goes on after a cam install, valve adjustment or valve cover change. This is also great for when you are at the track and you do a hot-swap on a set of camshafts. Spray those bumpsticks and the valve train down, before popping that valve cover back on. You will find many uses for this great lubricant.
MPZ also does a superb job of freeing up lost horsepower, due to friction. When you install stiffer valvesprings, precious horsepower is lost due to the stiffness of the springs and the now added valvetrain harmonics. MPZ reduces so much of the friction, that your valvetrain will work more freely, last longer, and provide you with a quieter operation and more horsepower!
If you are a technician or the do-it-yourself type, this is a MUST HAVE for you. So many professional engine builders in Pro Stock NHRA, NASCAR, SCCA, just to name a few, use this item religiously. Many of them have kept the product quiet and used it for themselves to try and achieve an advantage, but now the cat is out of the bag.
It's a small price to pay, compared to the amount invested in the engine and drivetrain.
