Torco TBO Premium Break-in Oil is a blend of hydro-processed petroleum base stocks and specially selected additives that clean, prepare and protect new engine parts. Since the first start up of a new engine is crucial to its life expectancy, TBO cleansing agents "scrub down" any contaminants left in new engines from the production process to assure good cleansing of freshly machined parts. TBO provides a suitable hydrodynamic film for new bearing protection and is made to withstand viscosity break down in order to maintain proper seperation of parts. The high percentage of protective "Zinc" anti-wear chemistry in TBO allows for mild mating of surfaces during new startup, while promoting proper valve train and new cam break-in protection. This oil is perfect for those who will be going straight to the dyno and will break-in their engine on the dyno. This oil also works great for the first 1,000 miles or during the "ring seat" phase.
